AutoMaxi
AutoMaxi is the application that
is handles data collection from PassCheck sensor in different types of passages,
from single door solutions to unlimited Mall/Retail solutions at multiple
geographical sites. AutoMaxi can control both people and car counting in a
single system.
AutoMaxi is the kernel in the PassCheck 3G system. AutoMaxi handles configuration, management and operation of the counting system.

The main function of AutoMaxi is the control of data acquisition from the measuring positions as well as monitoring/supervising of system functions and hardware. AutoMaxi can automatically send out custom defined alerts as email and/or SMS depending on customer set criteria, such as critical people flow or occupancy. These notifications are sent to customer-defined recipients.
AutoMaxi does not only check for immediate hardware failures but will also detect variations from statistical patterns. It is, therefore possible to detect environmental changes or needs for recalibration.
AutoMaxi, which is capable of handling the entire range from single door solutions to unlimited Mall/retail solutions with multiple sites, handles car-counting equipment in the same way as it handles people counting. The car and people information is integrated in the same database and reporting system.
AutoMaxi can work as a standalone solution or a solution joined into a MaxiNet network. In MaxiNet Data Loggers (MaxiBase) can be directly connected to a local server or the Data Loggers can be directly by Ethernet connected to the central server. In MaxiNet solution, is AutoMaxi located at a central server and read data over a LAN or internet connection.
The system administrator can remotely administer the MaxiBase data loggers with AutoMaxi system functions.
AutoMaxi is designed to work with MS SQL server, but has built in support for Oracle, Access and other databases. If MS SQL server is used AutoMaxi has a powerful query based tool built in.
The same application used as AutoMaxi Portable when a connected directly between a data logger and a laptop for downloading people counting data into the database. This is very useful when no other type of connection is possible.
AutoMaxi can be set-up in a redundant system by running in a master - slave configuration. The system will then run in a fall-over, fail-safe mode that creates full redundancy with separate servers and databases. Both systems have separate databases, which are replicated by the current server.
